Plains Area Mental Health Center in Carroll, IA is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant.  Primary duties include preparing clients to see our prescribers by providing a general assessment, gathering health information, setting up telehealth/zoom, and working in our EHR. Other duties include phone triage, pharmacy refills, medical records, and prior authorizations. Successful candidate must be highly organized, and detail oriented with the ability to multi- task. Excellent computer skills required. Previous clinic/office experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.  Primary office location is in Carroll with travel to our Denison office weekly and our Lake City office 2-3 days per month.
