Plains Area Mental Health Center is urgently hiring a full-time Outreach Worker based out of either our Storm Lake or Spirit Lake office. In this position, you will provide supportive services, skill building, behavioral intervention, and crisis planning services to adults with a serious mental illness while utilizing community support or habilitation services. Services are provided to individuals in their homes and community settings.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences and experience working with adults with mental illness. Computer skills are a must in this role, and you will be required to travel as well.
