Peer Support Worker – PRN/Substitute

Plains Area Mental Health Center is currently seeking a PRN/Substitute Peer Support Worker to assist in the operation of the Clubhouse in our Carroll location for persons with a serious mental illness. The Peer Support Worker will provide peer support to consumers and family members, assist with development of and facilitation of support group activities and individual resources and maintain records of contacts and activities of the Clubhouse. The Peer Support Worker must have lived experience with a mental illness.  Peer Support Specialist certification or willingness to participate in Peer Support Specialist training to become certified preferred.
