PAMHC is seeking a full-time RN for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) North team at our Le Mars or Cherokee location. Travel required for in home and community-based services for clients. Position is an average of 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, with periodic on-call required.
Pay Range:
$60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience

Position Summary:
This position is a part of an intense team-based approach that primarily involves responsibility for coordination of care with Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists and other medical or mental health treatment providers as well as supporting and advocating for persons with severe and persistent mental illness by ensuring helpful, courteous, culturally competent, and respectful services. The RN for the ACT team will promote smoking prevention and cessation, substance abuse prevention and cessation, nutritional counseling, obesity reduction, and increased physical activity. Additional duties include involvement in any hospitalization and or discharge of hospitalization of clientele, promote adherence and treatment management, and administer oral and or IM medications as needed. Other additional duties include providing trauma-informed care to a diverse population including clientele with co-occurring substance use disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining all necessary documentation. Work location and patient population may vary depending on organizational and client needs.
Requirements:
- RN or BSN License in Iowa
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

Bilingual a plus, but not required
